Top 5 Key points on Virtual Private Cloud

Private cloud
Private cloud is particularly assigned to a company using VPN. The VPN is called virtual private network. This post tells you not only features but also benefits.

What is virtual private cloud: The concept of a virtual private cloud (VPC) has emerged recently. In a typical approach, a VPC connects an organization's information technology (IT) resources to a dynamically allocated subset of a cloud provider's resources via a virtual private network (VPN).

  1. Organizational IT controls are then applied to the collective resources to meet required service levels. As a result, in addition to improved TCO, the model promises organisations direct control of security, reliability and other attributes they have been accustomed to with conventional, internal data centres.
  2. The VPC concept is both fundamental and transformation. First, it proposes a distinct abstraction of public resources combined with internal resources that provides equivalent functionality and assurance to a physical collection of resources operated for a single organisation, wherein the public resources may be shared with many other organizations that are also simultaneously being provided their own VPCs.
  3. Second, the concept provides an actionable path for an organization to incorporate cloud computing into its IT infrastructure. Once the organization is managing its existing resources as a private cloud (i.e., with virtualization and standard interfaces for resource management), the organization can then seamlessly extend its management domain to encompass external resources hosted by a cloud provider and connected over a VPN.

How organization will benefit with Virtual private cloud model:

  • From the point of view of the organization, the path to a VPC model is relatively straightforward. In principle, it should be no more complicated, say, than the introduction of VPNs or virtual machines into the organization's IT infrastructure, because the abstraction preserves existing interfaces and service levels, and isolates the new implementation details.
  •  However, as with introduction of any type of abstraction, the provider's point of view is where the complexities arise.
  • Indeed, the real challenge of VPCs is not whether organizations will embrace them once they meet organizational IT requirements, but how to meet those requirements — especially operational autonomy and flexibility — without sacrificing the efficiency that motivated the interest in the cloud to begin with.

Topologies in Apache Storm the concept you need to know

There are two main reasons why Apache Storm is so popular. The number one is it can connect to many sources. The number two is scalable. The other advantage is fault tolerant. That means, guaranteed data processing.
The map-reduce jobs process the data analytics in Hadoop. The topology in Storm is the real data processor. The co-ordination between Nimbus and Supervisor carried by Zookeeper What are topologiesThe jobs in Hadoop are similar to topology. The jobs run as per schedule defined. In Storm, the topology runs forever.A topology consists of many worker processes spread across many machines. A topology is a pre-defined design to get end product using your data.A topology comprises of 2 parts. These are Spout and bolts. The Spout is a funnel for topology Two nodes in StormMaster Node: similar to Hadoop job tracker. It runs on a daemon called Nimbus.Worker Node: It runs on a daemon called Supervisor. The Supervisor listens to the work assigned to each machine.Master NodeNimbus is re…

Three popular RPA tools functional differences

Robotic process automation is growing area and many IT developers across the board started up-skill in this popular area. I have written this post for the benefit of Software developers who are interested in RPA also called Robotic Process Automation.

In my previous post, I have described that total 12 tools are available in the market. Out of those 3 tools are most popular. Those are Automation anywhere, BluePrism and Uipath. Many programmers asked what are the differences between these tools. I have given differences of all these three RPA tools.

BluePrismBlue Prism has taken a simple concept, replicating user activity on the desktop, and made it enterprise strength. The technology is scalable, secure, resilient, and flexible and is supported by a comprehensive methodology, operational framework and provided as packaged software. The technology is developed and deployed within a “corridor of IT governance” and has sophisticated error handling and process modelling capabilities to ensu…
