Here are the five top commonly asked SQL queries in the interviews. These you can expect in Data Analyst, or, Data Engineer interviews. Top SQL Queries for Interviews 01. Joins The commonly asked question pertains to providing two tables, determining the number of rows that will return on various join types, and the resultant. Table1 -------- id ---- 1 1 2 3 Table2 -------- id ---- 1 3 1 NULL Output ------- Inner join --------------- 5 rows will return The result will be: =============== 1  1 1   1 1   1 1    1 3    3 02. Substring and Concat Here, we need to write an SQL query to make the upper case of the first letter and the small case of the remaining letter. Table1 ------ ename ===== raJu venKat kRIshna Solution: ========== SELECT CONCAT(UPPER(SUBSTRING(name, 1, 1)), LOWER(SUBSTRING(name, 2))) AS capitalized_name FROM Table1; 03. Case statement SQL Query ========= SELECT Code1, Code2,      CASE         WHEN Code1 = 'A' AND Code2 = 'AA' THEN "A" | "A

Payment Cards Complete List

Image
In this post, I have shared top payment cards, which are alternatives to money. The list is Credit, Debit, Fleet, Co-branded, Contactless cards.   Types of Plastic cards Many plastic cards are present to carry out financial transactions. The purpose is to buy items within the limit prescribed by banks to the cardholder. Two types of cards in this category are Magnetic-stripe and Chip cards. Credit cards In today's world, all banks issue credit cards with CHIP and PIN. After entering the PIN by the cardholder, the transaction kicks in for further processing. Types of Credit cards Security deposited cards: The cardholder should pay some front money to get this type of card. When the cardholder goes unpaid, then the card issuer pay from it. Credit Union Cards : The private Credit Union owners issue these cards. They usually charge less than what banks will. Pre-paid cards: They technically equal to Debit cards. They pre-loaded with a certain amount. You can use the cards until th

How propagator nodes will work in communicating devices in IOT: As noted previously, replicating even this highly efficient chirp protocol traffic indiscriminately throughout the IoT would clearly choke the network, so intelligence must be applied at levels above the individual end devices. This is the responsibility of propagator nodes, which are devices that create an overarching network topology to organize the sea of machine-to-machine interactions that make up the Internet of Things. Propagator nodes are typically a combination of hardware and software distantly similar to WiFi access points. They handle "local" end devices, meaning that they interact with end devices essentially within the (usually) wireless transmission range of the propagator node. They can be specialized or used to receive chirps from a wide array of end devices. Eventually, there would be tens or perhaps hundreds of thousands of propagator nodes in a city like Las Vegas.  Propagator nodes wi

How to Modernize Software Applications with AI (2 of 3)

Creating like human intelligence in devices, the software also called artificial intelligenc e. Ambient intelligence because of its interactivity with the user is an attractive medium to advertisers. Some examples: Human Intelligence Adswitch This could be a large step forward for the advertising industry as not all adverts are able to reach their potential customers and now advertisers can target the correct market as the advert will adapt to the changing environment . Ambient Intelligence The application of Ambient Intelligence in the Home Automation field is likely to continue as it can be simply allowed to disappear into the environment without homeowners having to notice it carrying out the complex instructions that would make lives easier.   It is also likely that newer methods of interacting with the interfaces will be a hot area for some time to come as speech and touch have specific limitations. It can be argued that one of the main reasons that ambient inte

The definition of Artificial intelligence is the continuous technological advances have gradually surrounded people with a wide range of electronic devices and information technology. The short name for Artificial intelligence is 'ai'. In this regard, it is necessary to develop intuitive interfaces and systems with some degree of intelligence, with the ability to recognize and respond to the needs of individuals in a discrete and often invisible way, considering people in the center of the development to create technologically complex and intelligent environments. Artificial Intelligence Vs Ambient Intelligence Artificial Intelligence Ambient Intelligence 1. The Amazing Points on IoT for Absolute Beginners

How things are connected in the IoT world. IT jobs are growing in this area across the world . Earlier, we discussed how the IoT refers to the interconnection of distinguishable smart/intelligent objects or "things" and their virtual manifestation within the Internet or other IP structure. The Basics in IoT The increased capability of processors (8-, 16- or 32-bit microcontrollers), memory (several tens of kilobytes), storage, possible nowadays to connect anything at an affordable cost. IoT Devices The devices always may not be small objects and battery operated. They may be big and are operated with electrical power too. The smart objects connected to a grid, and where the control system connected to a pool of software controllers. The generated data is a huge asset, which then passed to the data analysis engine. IP Scalability The scalability and flexibility of IP are suitable for the diverse range and a potential number of applications, and it is its wel

What is Deferment in Card Payments to Read Today

Image
You are an employee and you are working for a company. You are unable to pay your credit card amount. So you have an option. What is Deferment?  It is a temporary suspension of the repayment of a debt. Most creditors will not offer a deferment unless a debtor’s circumstances prevent him from making payments for a temporary period of time. A debtor, therefore, may need to provide documentation of his circumstances or may need to attest to the truthfulness of the request. Credit Cards Credit card companies do not normally provide a deferment as an option. Instead, a debtor who is experiencing a financial hardship, such as unemployment or a decrease in income, may ask the creditor to agree to reduce payment amount. Many credit card companies offer hardship programs that result in a reduced interest rate and a reduced payment. This may be a short-term plan for one year or less or a long-term arrangement that results in the payoff of the debt within a specific number of years.

5 Key Characteristics of Cloud Computing

Image
Cloud computing terminology and definition are often confusing for many software developers. The tutorial helps you to know the cloud characteristics quickly. Cloud computing is commonly characterized as providing three types of functionality that provide computing services from a remote location over a network. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a U.S. government agency, has a definition of cloud computing that is generally considered the gold standard. Providing Service over a Network generally call it as Cloud Computing Rather than trying to create my own definition, I always defer to NIST's definition. The following information is drawn directly from it. Cloud computing is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or serv
